TurboSFX is a set of tools for creating self-extracting archives, setup routines and ZIP files that can be easily distributed to others.
Using wizards and easy-to-use tools, you can create 16- and 32-bit ZIPs, self-extracting archives, self-extracting multi-volume CAB files, CAB files for HTML-based Internet Component download, and setup routines that run under Windows 3.1, 95, 98 and NT.
TurboSFX is ideal for packaging up files or distributing software programs. The self-installing archives can be safely sent by e-mail, placed on Web sites, or distributed on disk or CD-ROM.
Options include: splash screens with graphics and text, background images and colors, custom Registry entries, display of company and copyright information, Authenticode signatures, support for `silent archives` (that don`t display a message while extracting), special messages, support for archives that span multiple disks, optional password protection (with group password capability), the ability to run external programs, password-protection of individual files in an archive, support for HTML-based Internet Component Downloads, and more. |
